Lufthansa 787-9 Roll-In
Frankfurt/Munich, Germany
In a synchronized show across two key locations—Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport—we supported Lufthansa in showcasing their new Boeing 787-9 "Dreamliner." The main event in Frankfurt featured the aircraft illuminated by full-body projection mapping, surrounded by additional screens and an LED runway in the hangar. Meanwhile, Munich got connected via a live camera link to create a cohesive experience between the two cities.
PlanValley was responsible for the media servers, and projection setup and mapping, including optimizing the plane’s 3D model for projection. Using Twoloox’s Pandoras Box V8 and one of our latest lines of in-house developed media servers, we ensured a fully redundant system in both locations with precise timecode synchronization. This allowed for smooth coordination between the events and contributed to a successful and visually impactful presentation of the new aircraft.
